The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps(NSCDC) held the National Summit on safe School, tagged, Tackling Identified Threats In Nigeria Safe Schools Project, today 2nd of November, 2023, at the NAF Conference Centre Abuja.
The National Safe School Response Coordination Centre (NSSRCC) is a Critical Component of the Implementation Strategy of the Safe School Programme in Nigeria. The establishment of the centre at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Headquarters is in demonstration of government resolve to address the serious challenges of schools attacks and its consequences that have thrown a large number of children out of school in Nigeria.
The Submit garnered a significant number of attendees, including security operatives from NSCDC, community leaders, and concerned citizens of which the Amiable Director Of Equipping the Needy Initiative was present.
