The Christian Police Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN), Kaduna State Command, in collaboration with Corner Stone Apostolic Network, successfully hosted a two-day Leadership Conference at the Kaduna State Police Command. The event, held on February 6th and 7th, 2024, centered on the theme: “Who Is A Leader?”
Opening Session: A Call to Shine as Christian Leaders
The conference commenced with an opening remark by CSP Onoja Bernard,

Coordinator of the Paramilitary Unit. He urged Christian police officers to live by biblical principles, referencing the scripture: “Let your light so shine before men…” He challenged officers to examine their faith and leadership, asking: “Is your light shining as a Christian police officer?”
Keynote Sessions: Leadership, Integrity, and Accountability
Renowned speakers took turns addressing critical aspects of leadership:
Dan E. Dan, State Coordinator of 40 Principles in Equipping the Needy, emphasized the importance of integrity, health, and financial prudence. He advised officers to avoid corruption, earn public trust, and plan for life after service.

Benedict Aliku, National Coordinator of Apostolic for Christ Network Nigeria, delivered a thought-provoking lecture, “The Church That Jesus Died For.” He urged officers to uphold righteousness, reject bribery, and recognize the dangers of “unclean money.” He stressed that a Christian leader must embody and share the message of Christ.
Interactive Roundtable and Accountability in Leadership
A roundtable session, facilitated by John Olo, encouraged officers to engage in discussions on leadership principles and personal growth.
DSP Nathaniel Omale, Coordinator of the Police Command, reinforced the idea that true Christian leadership builds relationships, not divisions. He reminded officers that power should never be used to oppress but to serve.
Spiritual Perspective on Leadership
Professor Mathias Egwuka from Corner Stone Network shared insights on biblical leadership, citing Moses and Joseph as examples of leaders who overcame challenges with faith and wisdom.

On Day 2, Evangelist Mathew Hassan, a missionary with years of experience in China, delivered a passionate message. He reminded officers that “Go ye into the world” applies to their profession. He urged them to use their roles as police officers to spread the gospel, asking: “How can you serve for 35 years without bringing anyone into the light?”
