On Sunday, 18th February 2024, at around 5am, a tragic attack occurred in Gindin Dutse Makyali village of Kufafa district in Kajuru LGA. In response to this unfortunate event, the EQUIPPING THE NEEDY INITIATIVE took swift action to provide aid to the victims.
EQUIPPING THE NEEDY INITIATIVE presented cash relief to six victims who bore the brunt of the attack. Among them were three young men, each showing signs of gunshots and bruises on their bodies, a clear indication of the violence they had experienced.
In the female emergency ward, a woman was also a recipient of the cash relief. Her condition was not detailed, but her presence in the ward suggested the severity of her situation.
Two children, a boy and a girl, were also among the victims. The girl was particularly affected, with machete cuts and fire burns visible on her body, especially on her face.
