Intervention for Police widows for the festive Period in Kaduna State by Equipping The Needy Initiative

INTERVENTION FOR POLICE WIDOWS FOR THE FESTIVE PERIOD IN KADUNA STATE BY EQUIPPING THE NEEDY INITIATIVE

On December 14, 2023, the Equipping the Needy Initiative (ETNI), a non-governmental organization that supports and uplifts the lives of the needy, poor, and persecuted, conducted an intervention program for the widows of police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty in Kaduna State. The program was held at the ETNI office in Gonin-gora, Kaduna State, and was attended by over 40 widows.

The main objective of the program was to provide financial support to the widows and their families during the festive period.

An open speech by the Admin Officer of ETNI, Mrs. Christiana Arams Jackson, who welcomed the widows and expressed the organization’s sympathy and solidarity with them. She also highlighted the various projects and programs that ETNI has been implementing in Kaduna State and other parts of the country. She encouraged the widows to avail themselves of the opportunities and benefits that ETNI offers, and to remain hopeful and resilient in the face of their challenges.

A distribution of cash donations, where the widows were given cash donations depending on their needs and circumstances. The materials and donations were sourced from ETNI and other generous donors and sponsors, such as EQUIPPING THE PERSECUTED U.S.A.

A closing remark and vote of thanks by the Assistant Director, Mrs Christiana Benedict , who thanked the widows for their participation and cooperation, and assured them of ETNI’s continued support and care. She prayed for the repose of the souls of the fallen heroes, and for the peace and prosperity of Kaduna State and Nigeria at large.

In Conclusion, The widows expressed their gratitude and appreciation to ETNI and other stakeholders for the intervention, and requested for more of such programs in the future.
