Worshippers at the Cornerstone Apostolic Network, Kaduna, were richly blessed as Prof. Mathias Egwuka delivered a deeply insightful message titled “Service to God.” Drawing from 1 Samuel 2:18, he emphasized that true service to God extends beyond words and rituals—it requires a life of continual devotion, faithfulness, and spiritual understanding.
Prof. Egwuka noted that “the responsibility of the priest lies in the spiritual and physical ” underscoring that effective ministry demands balance and consistency. He added that there are “prayers that words cannot express,” reminding believers that God understands every unspoken need and thought of the heart.According to him, “the need of God is to find a usable vessel,” stressing that one’s response to divine instructions often determines whether their prayers are answered.

He cautioned that every believer must recognize the true source of their blessings, “the knowledge of our source of blessings will make us grateful.”Prof. Egwuka reminded the congregation that man was created in God’s image and likeness for fellowship, hence “service to the Lord is to be continual.” To serve faithfully, he said, “a man must wear a secret garment of devotion,” living daily in reverence and purity. He further emphasized that faithful service brings growth, and though God owes no man, He remains ever faithful.
God is not forgetful; He never forgets our labor of love.”Highlighting the spiritual dimension of service, the minister explained that “spirituality is obedience to the Word of God,” and that everything we need to live a spiritual life is contained in the Scriptures.

He charged the church to remain steadfast, noting that “no matter the situation, a man should focus on God.”Concluding, Prof. Egwuka reminded the congregation that God rewards every faithful act of service:“God knows our level of service and the intent of our hearts. He is a faithful rewarder and does not forget our labor of love.”

The service ended on a reflective note as worshippers rededicated themselves to serving God wholeheartedly and continually.
