The Cornerstone Apostolic Network Kaduna on Monday hosted a powerful teaching as Pastor Samson Adesanya delivered a sermon titled “Modeling Christ,” drawn from 2 Corinthians 3:1-6, 2 Thessalonians 3:7-9, 2 Corinthians 5:16, and Romans 8:11.In his message, Pastor Adesanya described believers as “living epistles, known and read by all men,” stressing that genuine Christianity is proven through good conduct and self-denial. He noted that to model Christ is to represent Him in a way that others can follow, which requires both careful observation and practical application of the truth.“Christ is not a surname for Jesus; it means the Anointed One,” he explained, adding that the revelation of Christ surpasses religious titles and denominations. He observed that material possessions may attract people, but only a Christlike character can sustain lasting respect and influence.

He concluded by urging the congregation to pursue a Christlike character that transcends outward appearance. “Modeling Christ is not about resemblance of the face but resemblance of the Spirit,” he affirmed.
